it was held at amara hotel. ended abt an hr ago.
guess what? in e end, i went down to venus to do my hair and makeup
40 bucks.
i thought the hair was nice, but at the end of the day
i realise my face is too big? doesnt really suit the hairstyle.
and i seriously think the blusher is super red la.
tell the hairstylist she say 'oh lightest already...'
but my hair still rocks! haha.
it is great to have someone helping u do makeup style hair and all
while u just sit down and rest. like the feeling.
but i think i will enjoy the feeling more if i got S-eleven.

anyways, this event kind of marks e end of my fate with hall14.
though i havent did any canvassing...shhhh.....
although i didnt really make many friends in hall14,
i guess they are all pretty nice ppl.
although my neighbours LOVE to LUFF like hyenas[ok exaggerating] in the middle of the nite, dont noe what they luffing abt also...never share! haha.
they are still nice ppl who attempts to SMILE at me in early morning
when i got the 'bie re wo' look cos i am really SLEEPY....

maybe cos of the 2 couples. but yea happy for them though....

USR 2006

this entry will be a few pages long
if i were to type everything i feel abt the race out.
basically i will summarise it in a few paras.

checkpoints: so many that my memory failed me and i cant remember all. haha. a bit exaggerating but yea. i think 21 checkpoints in all. for the details of the checkpoints, can check out aud's blog... but i did monopoly instead of gmax bungee. and we did canoeing instead of the canopy treetop. i will blog more abt the details soon i guess. hopefully.

position-wise: first day, 10th. 2nd day, 17th. being top ten[though the tenth] was :) though we dropped to 17th due to a few hiccups and all, i am very proud of the rest of the team cos we are the 1st all girls team. for 2 consecutive days! after we knew tt the champs was gone on the 1st day[cos the nus biathlon team is really lightning], we aimed to be the 1st all girls team! and we DID IT! we managed to catch up w this all girls team at upper seletar reservoir there. cheers!

i was quite shocked to see ZIHUI in the race! but yea, nice to see her!

i will like to thank my fellow SUPERSTAR PHOENIX teammates for pushing me all the way. i never run so much in my life before[now my legs are aching so badly that i feel like chopping them off. i cant even walk properly]....never run so hard to chase trains before[we are damn suay, when we reach the stn, the train is always like reaching kind]...thanks for helping me carry my stuff when my bu zhen qi de bag GAVE WAY on the first day!!! and i had to throw e bag away at parkway dustbin and buy a new DEUTER pouch which cost 23bucks. thanks for bearing w my black face....thanks for believing in me still when i was already half dead due to all the running...thanks for joining the race with me and thanks for being my teammates :)

i skipped sch today cos my body couldnt take it.
i was asleep when i heard a phone call from my aunt.
that my grandpa passed away.

i used to have 4 grandparents till today.
i kind of regretted not visiting ah gong in hosp last week.
i think i am pretty unfilial in a way to my grandparents. cos i am always too lazy to go visit them.
i regret visiting them only once a year.
maybe most of u are shocked tt i only visit my grans once a year. during cny...
the last time i saw ah gong was during this year's cny
which was 2 weeks ago? he was so thin.
that my mom cried when she saw how thin he was.
he lead a poor life. he was still working at the temple until abt 3 years ago?
although we hardly communicate, deep inside, i noe that he is a nice ah gong. e ci xiang kind.
and just now, when i took a last look at him, he looked pretty ci xiang.
which is good.

i just hope that he will have a better life up there
and that everyone will have the strength to live on and lead a happy life.
cos i noe ah gong wouldnt want us to be upset forever.

we ended at 945am and before u noe it, i am back in hall at 1010 and i slept till 2!

and i am finally HOME. glad man.
and guess what i havent bathe.
at home, bathing at 11pm is a taboo
in hall, who cares man. as long as i bathe before 2am! haha.
cos no more heater after 2pm.
but i hate to bathe in hall cos i have to carry bucket to the cubicle
and right i started to move things back to hall already.
i brought back all my bags! and 2 slippers. more to come next week!

ok, let me talk abt smthg very saddening.
i got a freaking low 70 for my econs quiz when the whole world got 80 and above
i was the lowest in class. like seriously. i SAW with my 2 BIG EYES.

at least, i managed to turn...thanks to ah hee's tip before we went down to surf! haha.

mine got stuck in the sand even before i went down. cos i stupidly went to flip the board over before going into the sea.
then the guy was like NO!
let's talk abt the running part. it was torturous!
the upslopes was OH. faints.
but i was really thankful for i had fantastic db fwens who ran with me.
cos i was really slow and they were really slowing down...
we even had 2 water breaks. really taking our own sweet time!
but yea, huili, yy, joyce, youwen, LILI were super encouraging.
esp LILI! :) without her pushing me, i wouldnt have make it to the finishing pt!
so thanks fellow rower! though she wont be reading this i guess...haha...

we played some beach games after that. and yea proceeded to yeling's hse
for her party! wah her condo really got CNY mood can.
even her mom was so in the CNY mood.
