had truth steamboat last night
it was not bad
but seriously bad due to 2 reasons.

1)before i left e hse i was like sms-ing jh tt i wore lk some auntie going market. and guess what. fast forward...we are at marina now....i was carrying like 8 plates and 4 bowls 2 ladles and one bowl of butter. this woman suddenly stopped me and ASKED ME to pass her something. which i cant remb what it is. but the point is tt. the woman thot i WORK AT CHONG PANG STEAMBOAT. argh. wtheck. i was so pissed man.

2)i have a huuge ba lu ku at the top left corner of my forehead. all becos i KNOCKED into some guy. i was like carrying 2 plates of food and somehow both of us just walked into each other. it was a serious hard knock. i felt super dizzy and wanted to faint after tt. i had to stop by a nearby table to STABILISE myself. argh.

though turnout was qt low. but i guess i had fun suaning ppl
like miss LV/PRADA, miss TV CARD, the maos etc...hahahs
after talking to keshia yesterday, i realise ppl from her sch are really rich.
luckily i didnt go there
as in tt idea has never crossed my mind before.
i will be deemed IMPOVERISHED there.
i hope she hurry writes her book and i will be the 1st to grab it hahas-

the days of being BAN ZHANG is not tt bad afterall. hahas

-4 ppl, which consists of my aunty, mich, ed and I. cos we like to shop
-2 ppl, mich’s dad and her dad’s bro. who is NOT MY uncle. I hope u guys get what I mean.
-this 2 really close friends whom the rest suspect tt they are not str. I haven’t really come to a conclusion re that. Hahas. But anws cousins and I just called them 4.9L secretly yeahs. Ask me personally re that. Too diff to type it out.

-Xiao Zhang for Suzhou. Some really filial guy. Who keep emphasizing the imptance of family ties. He is nice too. Just tt I think he got a short neck and weird voice yeahs.

Day one
-took SQ 816 to Shanghai Pudong Int Airport. It’s my 1st sq flight yups. Personally I feel that Sq is not v fantastic as what I expected it to be. It is overrated hahas. Anws. What I like is the service and KRIS WORLD. All thanks to songjh’s recommendation, I watched Little Bride, damn nice :) and I think kim rae won is not bad haha. I love the ending. So sweet! There are so many progs to watch and I only watch like a bit of princess diaries which I don think is tt nice so I switched to little bride. And cos I was like nodding off here and there I took like the whole plane trip to watch the whole show hahas. So to compensate for tt. I watched it AGAIN with my EYES wide open for the return journey.
-reached Shanghai ard 7am yeahs. Went to visit Cheng Huang Miao Jie. Not a vice happening place. But Joanne. U noe what. Their xiao long bao is damn cheap. 16 baos for like S$3. .
-urban planning exhibition hall. Nothing great.
-went to watch this acrobat show at night. Wow. I feel asleep for 1/2 hr cos I kind of watch sthg similar in Beijing last time. But the shanghai is definitely much better and funnier :) the last performance was a blast man.
 like 6 motorbikes went into this circular thing and they started riding and yeahs. They didn’t collide. Like duhs. Amazing lahs.
Stayed at Victory Hotel :).

Day Two
-it snowed on our way to xitang. It was a damn long journey can. Anws xitang is this like village thing. All the houses there all look v old tt kind. U seriously cannot find them in spore. Got river flowing and houses on both sides of the river those kind. At 1st, I thot snow was damn cool. But after experiencing the after-effects, I am sorry, it sucks. Spare me from all the snow man. Everyone agreed unanimously. And it snowed even HEAVIER on our way to Hangzhou.
-went to some chrysanthemum factory. Dinner was at this damn high class restaurant. I love the toilet aunty.
-went to watch this SONG cheng performance at night. Oh man, the visual effects was damn good. U noe REAL HORSES, MA, ran across the stage, I was damn shocked lahs. Then I asked mich, “ did u see the horses, am I seeing things?” she said, “no I only saw the small child somersaulting”. Oh man. Tt was damn funny lah. cos after a while I realize there was this small boy somersaulting in front of the horses. Which was quite redundant? Everyone was starin at the MOVING horses. When it was raining in one of the scenes, it rained at the audience seats too. Damn cool right hahas. OH OH, and they fired a real cannon ball. How magnificent can it get.

Day Three
-went to some tea village. Called MEI JIA CHUN. Didn’t buy any tea. It was too ex.
-visited the beautiful XI HU. Damn nice lah. anws pardon me for my limited vocab. The park was like snow-covered. Sat this cruise down XI HU. Saw this damn cute thai boy. I bet mich agrees. Haha.
-went to BAO SHU TANG after that. Oh man, tt place is damn funny can. The ppl there. Anws it is like some place tt sells a lot of chi medicine. Got this thing called bao fu ling. For curing insect bites and all. It is damn good one. As in I bought it in Beijing before. It cost 50 bucks for one bottle btw. Anws we went into this room, the person-in-charge started talking. He looked like some actor. And ok it’s time for a live demo to show the miraculous effects of bao fu ling. The door opened and some guy pushed a huo lu inside the room. Then suddenly there was this super Hot long metal chain in front of us. And the funny guy asked if anyone wanted to come forward to burn ur hand and use bao fu ling to cure ur hand after tt. Obviously, no sane person will say YES. So he bo bian, demo himself! And after his “performance”, 3 doctors walked in. and the doctors started walking ard to “talk” to ppl. And the funny guy came to talk to me re my pimples and stuff. was quite angry with him.
- went to shop at night. Oh man the CDs in china are relli qt affordable. ORIGINAL ones cost ard 5 to 6 sing dollars. I shld have bought the whole shop down at hangzhou. Bought fake lv bag for my mum yeahs. And some bag for myself. Basically right, the REAL stuff there are damn ex and sometimes more ex than Singapore. And all the shops like sell winter wear tt kind.
Ng: I seriously never relli see any short sleeve shirts in china. Expect in xiangyang rd. but is fake esprit brand and not nice one.
-did I mention tt their fastfood is cheap too. My small whipped potato cost. 60 sing cents. And a meal cost like 3 plus sing dollars. And KFC is like damn popular there. More popular than macs.

Day 4
-5 hr journey to wuxi. The wuxi spareribs were not bad and the egg too!
-it was snowing damn heavily at the san guo yan yi filmsite. And we were all so pathetic on the tour car ard the whole filmsite. we took out our umbrellas and soon we were surrounded by the umbrellas. The wind was how strong, the snow was like “attacking” us. If not for the damn snow, we will have enjoyed the place more. Argh.
-it was a lucky day for me. Cos we went to this pearl factory. And the woman asked us to guess the no of pearls in the oyster. And CAI ZHONG YOU JIANG. Oh man I CAI ZHONG lors. Hahas. And I got some free. Sheep placenta cream which is supposedly quite good. Yeahs.
-the ZI SHA HU factory was quite ok. Didn’t buy any teapots. Too ex already and not practical for me yeahs.
-stayed at milido hotel. At 1st, I gave it a 5-star rating cos there was channel V(steph if u are reading this, CHANNEL V man. Hahas….i love channel V. if u noe why yeahs)…and anws, I downgrade it to 1/2 star after going to the toilet.
-there was something seriously wrong with the tap water. It was MILKY seriously. White ppt. but after leaving it to stand for a while, the ppt will kind of disappear though. So anws I called HouseKeeping to complain and they told me some crap which I am not v satisfied with.

Day 5- New Year Eve.
This was a damn eventful day.
-All thanks to the SNOW, the diesel like FROZE, and the bus door cannot open. It was damn cold. Minus few degreees tt kind.
-so anws, we left the hotel like one hr later cos the bus driver, zhang shi fu, had to salvage the bus.
-so anws, barely 15mins after we depart, the engine died. And guess what it was like 930am. And traffic was damn crazy at tt time. And once our bus stop in the middle of the road. We caused a major traffic jam. All the vehicles behind were honking like mad cows. Was damn pissed with tt. Like hello. They think we wan to stop the bus for no reason mehs. Then anws, the damn “efficient” gong an appeared within 2 mins and kind of told us off. Say we cause the traffic jam and please come down to push the bus to one side. And all of us were like “huh, PUSH THE BUS?”
-so anws, we went down to push the bus. Quite cool. Shld have taken fotos hahas. And anws the bus broke down soon after again and we had to push the bus again. What was irritating was like the damn gong an only noe how to talk and not HELP US PUSH. So angry. As I quote one of the tour mates. NATO! No Action, Talk Only!
-due to the snow again, ice formed on the highways and it was dangerous to drive on the highways so the highways were closed. And we had to detour and our journey to nanjing took 5 hrs when actually 3 hrs will do.
-had lunch at nanjing at like 4 plus? When the workers soon after us, had their DINNER.
-went to visit the Yangtse river bridge. Boy, it was damn freezing cold at the top level.
-went to the happening FU ZI MIAO at night. Mind u, it is not a temple. It is a shopping streets. With lots of shops and shopping malls lined on both sides of the streets.
-saltwater duck is ok lah song. I prefer the spareribs. Haah.
-anws at fu zi miao there, fake cds and vcds going at sing one buck.

Day 6- Sunny day I like.
-went to the sun yat sen mausoleum. Jh, I agree with u, a lot of steps to climb, my legs nearly gave way. I relli admire the old architects. They relli put a lot of effort into designing everythg. It’s like a lot of things got their own meaning one. Damn cool.
-reached suzhou ard 4pm. Boy, tt place relli got a lot of bridge and river and small houses. at first, I thot suzhou is damn sian diaos and not fun at all place. Oh, until night time, when we reached GUAN JIAN JIE, things were diff. tt place is damn happening like fu zi miao. Xf told us tt FU ZI MIAO(in nanjing), GUAN JIAN JIE(in SZ), WANGFUJING STREET(in Beijing) and Nanjing Rd(in Shanghai) are the 4 most popular shopping streets in China!
-u noe their pirated cds are so nice and professional. In this cd shop, damn funny, centre row of cds are orginal. At the 2 sides, all FAKE one. And inside got a lot of vcds, I bought the incredibles anyways. The shop owner was damn professional and he relli noes HIS STUFF man hahas,

Day 7- Sunny Shanghai
-went to shi zi lin. Again, cool architecture. No wonder china ppl so smart.
-went to the silk factory. I bought a silk blanket. Yeahs I can wrap myself like a cocoon alr at night hahas.
-went to this temple called Han Shan Si. Bought some souvenirs there.
-2 hr journey to shanghai from suzhou. Anws I concluded tt I don mind staying in SZ when I am old. And SZ ppl are seriously in love with lky. As in, he is very popular there due to our investment plant in sz. U noe sz economy is very dependent on tt. Hahas.
-went to the BUND. Which is WAI TAN in chi. Which is shanghai tan la. Tt place crowded man. Took grp foto there. And I suck big time in my individual foto. I love the oriental pearl tower building.
-went to shop at xiangyang road. Tt place 99% stuff fake one hahas. Boy, it was crowded too. But the ppl there suck. All so irritating and rude. And cant relli bargain a lot. Mich said tt the Taiwan guy was the nicest to us and I agree man. But he is a bit weird too hahas. Anws aunty, ed, mich and I were late to gather bac at the flags there. And stupid xf went to ask the PA syst ppl to announce for us. How paiseh lahs. Only 10mins what.

Day 8- last dae in china. Quite sad. Will miss the weather to a small extent.
-u noe shanghai ppl are freaking rich. Some of them. On the way for lunch, I saw 3 ppl walk their dogs on the streets and all got wear clothes one. And I think I relli got a thing with DOGS tt dae.
-after lunch we went shopping at some of the shops at the restaurant there and we went into this convenience store. A DOG came into the store lahs. And Edmund koh was mouthing the word GOU to me and I was like HUHS. And suddenly I saw the dog running past me. Mind u, the cashier counter there was qt squeezy at tt time. And anws I kind of shouted. OH MAN, DOG DOG DOG, I am freaking scared of dogs. In eng of course. And I squeezed my way out of the store and scolded my cousin. I was like. Cant u just say DOG OUT LOUD. Instead of mouthing GOU. Argh.
-I seriously forsee tt china will seriously become the superpower soon. There are so mani high rise and high class buildings in shanghai lah, I thot the banks at puxi was cool. The bank district. If I were to visit china in like 5 years time. I doubt the things will be tt kind of tt px anymore.
-anws, u noe in nanjing average income is 400/mthly and in sz it is like 200/mthly and yet ppl can survive. It is true tt in spore if u earn 200 a mth u cannot survive. One week also cannot. Tt is why I came to the conclusion tt why their cds and foodstuff are quite cheap.

I was quite ashamed of myself in china. Cos my chi was like ban tong shui, even worse then ban tong shui. Always had to turn to mich for help and mich speaks eng at home! And I speak Chinese at home! As in my chi was relli sucky, quite embarrassing, cos I am a Chinese and I cant relli speak tt fluent Chinese. And my eng isn’t any better anyways. I seriously shld brush up my Chinese one dae. And I wonder how come some ppl think tt china is so ulu and not so cool like European ctries. Hello, china is seriously gonna turn into some mighty dragon soon. Tour guide told us tt they gonna increase the pxes of some of their foodstuffs in order to compete in the int mrkt. In all, I think we shld be proud tt we are Chinese ppl! And not forsake Chinese, in school or at home. It’s like when u visit china, u will really be so paiseh tt how come our sporean chi suck tt much. Maybe it’s just me. Quite sad tt the trip is over already and I got to adapt to spore life again.

Sometimes I think it is really good to like go on a holiday to relax. No worries there. Silly lame jokes and stuff in the hotel rooms…as I always say life is unpredictable. I didn’t realize how serious the tsunamis and earthquake was. Though china cctv got lots of reports on it. Got to read up more these few days, get used to the HOT weather (though I noe it has been raining), pack my room. And quit being a parasite. Shall work hard! I got an aim this month :)
